The main ingredients in this smoothie: fresh coconut water, young coconut meat, passion fruit, turmeric, ginger and orange juice will bring you back to that sweet summer spot (even if you have a ton of work to do).

Artful Desperado’s Back to School Smoothie

  • 1 Serving

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh young coconut with water

  • 1 passion fruit pod, scoop out contents and save some for topping

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • ¼ cup frozen mango chunks

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • A few ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Crack open the young coconut, drain the water (save it) then crack it fully open and scoop out the meat.
  2. Place all ingredients in the blender including coconut water and coconut meat, blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Top with a bit of extra fresh passion fruit and a sprinkle of turmeric for extra zing.
  4. Enjoy and conquer the day!
