Keeping a stockpile of frozen bananas means you’ll always have access to bananas—even when you told yourself you were going to go to the grocery store five times, but still haven’t made it… Baking banana bread? Or feel like making “nice cream”? You’ll always have bananas on deck.

Chocolate Dipped Bananas
Okay, so remember when you went to the fair as a kid and they had those super yummy chocolate covered bananas. This is like the grown up version of that. Covered in adult-appropriate nuts like smoked almonds and chopped salted pistachios, Joy The Baker’s Chocolate Dipped Frozen Bananas Recipe is a good place to start.
There’s something about the smell of banana bread baking in the oven that is oh so yum. Smitten Kitchen’s Jacked Up Banana Bread specifically calls for over-ripe bananas and your frozen selection, will work perfectly. Defrost your bananas first.
