Use fresh baking soda
I don’t know about you but I tend to leave my baking soda in the fridge and then forget about it. I can’t even tell you how long it’s been in there. Baking soda is responsible for making your pancakes fluffy. Old baking soda = sad, limp pancakes. Make sure your baking soda is fresh!

Use REAL maple syrup
I might be biased because I come from the land of maple syrup, but it really does make all the difference in your pancake experience. Regular syrup, which doesn’t come from the maple tree and is basically flavored sugar, just can’t compete!
