Luvo is a small brand with big ambitions.  We are on a mission to change lives through nutrition by creating solutions that allow people to eat nutritiously without compromising on convenience or taste.  We have big things ahead in 2019 and beyond and are looking for hungry, ambitious talent to join our growing team.  Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, this role will work with the Luvo team in Vancouver and remote as well as our new partner brand located in Seattle.

THE ROLE                                             

The role of Social Media and Community Marketing Specialist will be to shape and drive our social media and influencer marketing strategy and execution. Reporting to the Digital Director, you will work closely with the other members of the marketing team including creative, digital, ecommerce, and brand marketing to plan and execute brand building and traffic driving social media and influencer campaigns that drive brand discovery, engagement, and love.

BY DAY, THE SOCIAL MEDIA AND COMMUNITY MARKETING SPECIALIST WILL:

  • Define the channel strategy and develop campaigns to drive engagement
  • Plan and own the social media and influencer campaign calendar and work with members of the team to concept and execute across all social and influencer channels
  • Actively monitor and respond to customer engagements and questions across social channels
  • Research and identify potential influencers for brand collaborations and paid sponsorships and conduct ongoing outreach and recruitment of social media influencers
  • Manage an ongoing roster of social influencers working with them to explore opportunities, plan and schedule collaborations, execute against collaborations, and summarize performance and learnings
  • Identify and track trends and best practices in social, adjusting strategies and practices as necessary
  • Engage with brand fans in social to amplify engagement
  • Manage paid social programs, allocating budget to campaigns, setting objectives and KPIs, managing and learning from performance
  • Define reporting dashboards and provide regular reporting and analysis
  • Monitor digital for brand mentions and react, respond, or amplify across channels when appropriate
  • Actively contribute to campaign ideation with passion and enthusiasm
  • Work with brand partners, retail accounts, and agency partners from time to time on collaborative initiatives
  • Provide backup support to the ecommerce team for customer service enquiries as
